Locktoberfest
Event Branding & Collateral Design
I was responsible for developing the complete brand identity for Locktoberfest, the City of Lockhart's premier annual community festival. This project began with designing a dynamic logo and establishing a full brand guidelines document. My goal was to create an identity that fused the festive, traditional style of Oktoberfest with local Texas heritage. I utilized bold, custom typography and a recognizable emblem to give the brand an established, celebratory, and highly recognizable aesthetic that scales seamlessly and ensures immediate visibility across all promotional campaigns.
A key part of the project was successfully applying the bold, new identity to the physical event experience. To ensure seamless attendee flow, I designed the essential festival map and informational pamphlet, which helped guests navigate the large event grounds and find key attractions easily. Additionally, I extended the brand into high-value merchandise, creating the look for the official apparel and the collectible beer can label design. This packaging design was a complete deliverable, ensuring the product was ready for mass production and perfectly reinforced the brand's quality and aesthetic. This comprehensive approach ensured the brand was cohesive, impactful, and immersive at every touchpoin
I designed the specialized promotional poster for the "Good Dog Bingo" event, a popular, recurring community gathering known for its casual, inclusive atmosphere and its role as a key fundraiser benefiting Central Texas CASA. The challenge for this execution was adapting the event's regular visual identity to a German-themed aesthetic to directly tie it into the Locktoberfest celebration. My design work successfully ensured the essential information and the event's fun, welcoming vibe were clearly communicated, proving my ability to execute detailed, temporary branding projects that leverage a recognizable sub-brand for maximum promotional impact and social good.
